Representatives from RMIT University, Australia, visited BITS Design School’s Mumbai campus to operationalise the collaboration between the two institutions. The collaboration covers student and faculty exchange and collaborative projects that would help enhance students' learning experience and global exposure. Joint research and conferences would further the design agenda in both countries.

In the QS Subject Ranking, RMIT is ranked #1 in Australia and among the top 20 in the world for Art and Design.

The team from RMIT included Prof. Robyn Healy, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching), Prof. Andrea Siodmok, Dean of the School of Design, and Mr. Nick Scarborough, Associate Director. Representatives from both institutions recognised the importance and need for international collaborations in design and sustainability-related efforts.
